Free Access to Myspace Mobile Over the Holidays

If you happen to find yourself on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, O2 is offering its subscribers unlimited access to MySpace Mobile on their cell phones for November and December. The UK-based service provider has said that they won’t be charging customers for any data used to access the popular social networking site.

The O2 UK CEO says that they “want to be one of the first mobile operators to fully exploit the phenomenon that is social networking.” And I thought that Helio was already all over that MySpace Mobile thing… maybe he means that they want to be one of the first in Europe.

That, or this is designed to be a gateway drug, hooking the young’ns into free MySpace Mobile, only to charge them inordinate fees come January.
